It made me a little sad inside when I was proctoring that when I stated to these high schoolers that they had to write in cursive for a certain part of the test they looked at me and one of them said “Cursive? I don’t think I know how to write that.” Is our new generation really that ignorant? Are we so into technology that we will just type and forget to write? Maybe it’s just me, but I appreciate handwriting. I always found cursive a beautiful way to write.
